The Vicar General of Karamoja Rev Fr Paul Ngole applauded Derrine Foundation for showing love to the people of Karamoja through taking responsibility for providing basic needs to them. A journey that was spearheaded by Derrick Mukiibi the founder of Derrine Foundation who patterned with Uganda Martyrs University heading to Karamoja in the northern part of Uganda which was the spot of interest. Derrine Foundation visited schools like St Michael Primary School, Kotido S.S.S, Kanyamole Girls Secondary School that were found in very critical conditions, Derrine Foundation raised awareness in girls about avoiding early marriages and staying in schools, they served scholastic materials to students like pens, books, mathematical sets, rulers etc. Together with sanitary towels to help the girls to improve sanity.
